Students in three Passaic schools are back in their classrooms after they were evacuated because of bomb threats.

Detective Andy White tells The Record newspaper School 10 was evacuated after a threat was received at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday and School 10 was evacuated an hour later. White says a third bomb threat forced students from the Hope Academy high school.

Bomb-sniffing dogs failed to find any explosives and by 11 a.m., all three schools reopened.

Police in New Jersey have been responding to a wave of bomb threats and reports of suspicious packages in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings.
