OLD BRIDGE — A man used snacks, hats and fidget spinners to get a boy to leave a Quick Chek with him.

One of the boys felt uncomfortable and alerted a store employee, according to Old Bridge police. The man told the employee the boys were going with him but was ordered to leave the store.

The man left the parking lot in a white Toyota, possible a Corolla.

The suspect is described as a thin, white male in his late twenties or thirties. He was wearing a gold Yankees hat, sunglasses, and a red Nike T-shirt. Police said he had brown scruff on his face.

Old Bridge Police asked anyone with information about the incident to call 732-721-5600 X3210.
