Law enforcement authorities this week ramped up their search for a 24-year-old Manchester woman who has been missing for more than a month.

Manchester police said Amanda Picard was last seen Feb. 5 after her parents dropped her off at her grandmother's home in the Holiday City section of Berkeley in Ocean County.

Picard is described as a white female, 5-foot-7, 130 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair.

Picard does not own a car or a driver's license. She left the home without her cell phone.

Police on Wednesday handed out over 700 flyers in the immediate area of Holiday City in an effort to locate Picard, the Patch of Manchester reported.

Police told the news site they also checked several abandoned homes.

Manchester Police were joined by officers from the State Police, Berkeley, the Ocean County Sheriff's Office, the Bergen County Sheriff's Office and the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office.

Anyone with information about her location should call Manchester Township Police at 732-657-6111.
