Third Suspect Charged In Violent New Brunswick Robbery

Another person has been arrested in connection with a recent robbery in a New Brunswick home that ended with the victim being shot and critically wounded.Middlesex County prosecutors announced Sunday that 26-year-old Mohamad Kamara of Franklin Township faces charges of attempted murder, conspiracy and armed robbery. His bail was due to be set later Sunday, and it was not known if he has retained an attorney.

Authorities say two other suspects were captured shortly after the robbery occurred Tuesday afternoon in New Brunswick. But investigators declined to discuss a possible motive, citing the ongoing investigation.

Prosecutors say the 22-year-old New Brunswick man wounded in the robbery remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition. His name has not been disclosed.
