Authorities have made a third arrest in a robbery that claimed the life of a 12-year-old boy in Jersey City.

The Jersey Journal reports 33-year-old Farrarhd Gunter of Newark was arrested Saturday when police allegedly found heroin and crack cocaine in his car after he was involved in an accident.

Gunter is charged with felony murder, robbery and weapons offenses in the death of Gywan Levine Jr. on May 17. Authorities say the boy was shot while dribbling a basketball as he and his father walked along Rutgers Avenue.

The boy was shot in the shoulder while his father was wounded in the leg in what authorities believe was a botched robbery.

Gunter remained jailed Monday on $100,000 cash bail. It's not known if he's retained a lawyer.
