The winner of Trev’s Jersey Bracketology is revealed

Trev's Jersey Bracketology contest started with 36 of Jersey's favorite people, places and things and now we are ready to crown a champion!

We gave you everything from Springsteen to the Stone Pony and even Jersey tomatoes and you voted early and often for your favorite. It was a highly contested race, pitting some of the most interesting matchups, including battles between Frankie Valli and Frank Sinatra, the Jersey Devil versus the New Jersey Devils hockey team, and even Jenkinson's boardwalk beat out Fantasy Island on Long Beach Island!

But when it all came down to the finals, Jersey culture reigned supreme as the Jersey jughandle took on pork roll. Could you get a more New Jersey final matchup than that?

On paper, the matchup looked like it was going to be a tightly contested race but it was anything but that!  Jersey pork roll took home the championship in an absolute rout of the Jersey jughandle! It was never even close.

It just goes to show that New Jerseyans LOVE their pork roll! Pork roll is crowned as the overall Jersey champion!
