Thursday's high temperatures reached the lower 80s, as high as 83 at Newark Liberty Airport.  It was around 80 in Trenton, Atlantic City, and Wrightstown, Burlington County.  This is above the normal high of 76 or 77.

We'll have some sunshine to start today, but it will become partly to mostly cloudy during the course of our Friday.  Highs will be in the 70s, but cooler near the ocean.

There is a risk of showers anytime from mid or late afternoon on.  We're certainly safe, I think, through 2 o'clock today.  It will be later this afternoon and this evening.

Then, tonight we'll get some rain, some of which could be heavy.  It could be an inch plus of rain, maybe a passing thunderstorm included.  Overnight lows will mostly be in the 60s.  But late at night, before daybreak, much of the rain will be out of the state.

So, we'll be drying out Saturday with clouds and some sunshine, and temperatures back in the 70s.  It looks like a fine day.

Sunshine and developing clouds Sunday with highs in the 70s.  There's the chance of an afternoon or evening shower with a brisk wind.

It will be kind of unsettled and a bit cooler for the early and middle part of next week.
