Another New Jersey artist is getting a shot at stardom on a reality show.

Mike Schiavo, a native of the Colonia section of Woodbridge, is one of two “leaked” blind audition contestants that will appear on NBC’s The Voice tonight. The other blind audition contestant is Alisan Porter, the star of the 1991 movie "Curly Sue."

In the "leaked footage" — which is to say, footage released early by The Voice on its YouTube channel — Adam Levine gets up and claps as the 21-year-old Schiavo performs an acoustic version of Tove Lo's hit "Talking Body." Pharrell Williams listens intently as Blake Shelton smiles and is the first to hit the button, calling Schiavo "special," followed by Williams. Schiavo, who told the judges he just moved to Los Angeles, also got to duet with Levine on Maroon 5's "She Will Be Loved."

After their performance Levine called Schiavo, who performs using the name "Spots,"  a "natural" and said he "nailed it." Shelton joked that Schiavo already got to live his dream by performing with his idol and that he was offered a chance to do something different musically. The team that Schiavo picks to join will be revealed on Monday night's show.

"You are all so amazing! The response to the sneak peek of my blind (audition) has been unreal, I'm so glad you've been enjoying it and can't wait for you to see the whole show," Schiavo wrote on his Facebook page.

Gianna Isabella, 15, of Jackson is currently among the top 10 contestants on Fox's "American Idol" and will learn on Thursday if she makes the top 8. In 2013, Jacqui Lee of Tinton Falls was a finalist on The Voice on Christina Aguilera's team.
