The toughest question a millennial will face: What was the best 90s Nicktoon?
I was inspired to ask this question by a t-shirt my friend was wearing on Monday.
On the surface, the shirt has images of a few cartoons that are years removed from being considered new. What I see is an avalanche of nostalgia. Rugrats, Ren & Stimpy, Hey Arnold!, Rocco's Modern Life; I could definitely spend an entire Sunday binge watching all of those shows. And those are just a few of the classic Nicktoons we had as kids. Nickelodeon's golden age was the 90s. Between the plethora of Nicktoons they gave us, we had sketch comedy shows like All That and Kenan & Kel, game shows like Double Dare and Legends Of The Hidden Temple. The list goes on and on.
If you think you are in the minority in missing these classic Nickelodeon shows, don't worry. You are far from alone. Nickelodeon knows that the 90s were an epic time for the network, so they have us millennials covered. Every midnight on the channel Teennick, they shift to The 90s Are All That, where they air all of your favorite old Nick shows. The throwback programming block has it's own Facebook page with over 1.3 million likes, so yeah, you're definitely not alone.
Now comes one of the harder questions a millennial will ever have to answer. In your opinion, what was the best 90s Nicktoon? Take our poll and share your thoughts in the comment section below.
I'm giving my vote to Hey Arnold!
