"Any time you are feeling down ... and you're considering doing something unfortunate, think of this," Jim Gearhart says. "Because I thought this was classic."

The new World Happiness Report is out, and Norway tops the list of happiest countries in the world. But, Jim says, he's been reading reports that say its neighbors in Denmark and Sweeden have some of the highest suicide rates.

"Naturally, someone's going to try and find out why, what's going on?"

In Sweeden, he says, those pushed to extremes do so because of a sense of failure — such as in their professional lives. In Denmark, people tend to have dark thoughts over emotional setbacks and broken hearts.

So what's set Norway apart? The same thing we do here in America all the time.
