The Safest Communities In New Jersey

As heard on our show, a safety company called SafeWise put out a list of the 50 safest communities across New Jersey. They did it largely using 2011 crime data from the FBI but also used other criteria. Mahwah in Bergen county ranks safest of all. This led us to take calls from folks who don't feel it necessary to lock their homes or lock their cars. I live in the 10th safest community on this list and I keep all my doors locked, always, even though I have nothing worth stealing.
