Remember back in February we had the story of the woman who was attacked in her bed by a raccoon? Well, there’s another one now, and again, its in New England (the first one was in Massachusetts, this one’s in Vermont).

A woman was minding her own business unloading snow tires from the back of her car when the raccoon appeared seemingly out of nowhere and bit her hand; she shook the raccoon off and she made a beeline for her door but the raccoon, and here’s the amazing part, takes a flying leap and knocks her down while biting her leg. A neighbor took her to the hospital where she got 14 stitches on her hand and leg. Officials assume the raccoon was rabid, since non-rabid raccoons rarely attack people.
