A few mornings ago on 287 south, a man was traveling through Bedminster. He did what the police want us to do. He did what chiding bumper stickers say to do. HANG UP AND DRIVE! Was that his big mistake? He says he ended a phone call and it was when he tried putting his phone away that he got distracted and suddenly lost control of his pick up truck. He swerved out of his lane and hit a Honda CRV and both vehicles went off into the woods.

Three people in all were taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Had he stayed on his phone longer maybe everything would have been okay. So is ENDING a call now the new drunk driving? Hmmmm.
