You may not been aware unless you stopped in but September 29 is National Coffee Day. Most places that serve a cup of Joe celebrated by offering deals or free coffee to their customers in all different sizes. Not too long ago on my show and I asked the listeners where’s the best cup of coffee in New Jersey.

My co-worker, Digital Managing Editor, Toniann Antonelli, joined me on air to discuss her experience during Wawa Day in the YouTube clip below.

In no particular order, these are the top ten coffee places that you the listeners came up with.

Turning Point-  Locations throughout New Jersey

Lava Java-  Located in Lavalette, this place was recommended to my by a waitress who actually works at a different diner. She recommends their “Jersey Diner” blend.

Tim Horton’s Coffee- I had no idea the former hockey player went into the coffee business but I got several calls raving about them. Now that they’ve been bought by Burger King, expect to see more of them.

Rook-  This was another shop with heavy call-in volume. People were raving about the place with locations throughout Monmouth County.

Coco’s in Flemington - This place not only serves great coffee but I got a call about their iced espresso poured over Gelato, In fact City Councilman/comedian Joey Novick later called and said this place is so good that he’ll buy me a cup if I come out there.

Café 360 - In downtown Freehold, right in the heart of the city.

FourSquare Sunoco - In Jackson, it's gas Station coffee has stepped up as shown by a caller who said she works in the Freehold Raceway Mall but drives down here on her break because the coffee is so good!

Black River Roasters- White House Station New Jersey

WAWA- Coffee so good that our News Digital Managing Editor Toniann Antonelli Rachael spent the day going to various locations, then came on the radio to tell me about it at 90 miles an hour! (See the YouTube clip above)

Dunkin Donuts - A  favorite among many NJ residents.

If you think there’s one that should have made the list or you’d like to comment about one of these, feel free.
