BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP — An 18-year-old man was taken to Virtua Memorial Hospital after a motorist reportedly punched him in the face in a road-rage incident.

Township police said late Wednesday night that the victim inadvertently cut off another motorist at around 10:25 that night. The suspect then reportedly tailgated him into a local neighborhood. A confrontation ensued, resulting in the victim being punched. The suspect then fled when neighbors were alerted to the noise outside.

Police describe the suspect as being white, between the ages of 19 and 25 with a "stocky build" and a braided goatee and pony tail. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and flip flops. He was driving a blue Chrysler 300 with tinted windows and a chrome grill.
