Teen Boy Killed, Man Wounded in Trenton Shooting
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) -- A teenage boy was killed and a man was wounded when shots rang in New Jersey's capital city.
But it's not clear what sparked the shooting, which occurred shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Stuyvesant Avenue in Trenton.
Police responding to reports of shots fired found a 16-year-old boy and a 26-year-old man who had both been wounded. They were taken to a hospital, where the teen died a short time later.
The 26-year-old, who was shot in the groin, is expected to fully recover.
The shooting came one day after another man was shot and wounded in that area. That victim was shot in his left leg and left elbow, but his wounds were not considered life-threatening.
No arrests have been made in either shooting.
