BRICK — An Ocean County diner owner who allegedly became too personal with a teenage job applicant is charged with criminal sexual contact, and police are investigating whether it was an isolated instance.

The fourth-degree count was filed Tuesday against Benjamin Kuklo, 52, by Brick Police based on the alleged victim's statements to police following her job interview at Bennie's Diner on Mantoloking Road,police say.

According to police, the 16-year-old said Kuklo touched her inappropriately during their discussion. He posted $2,500 full bail and was released after processing.

Authorities ask anyone aware of similar inappropriate encounters with Kuklo, or anyone at Bennie's Diner, to speak with Detective Tara Schinder, 732-262-1120.
