NJ101.5 has partnered with local animal rescue organizations EASEL Animal Rescue League and Sammy’s Hope to feature adoptable local pets in need of homes. Help us find these pets homes by sharing this information with family members and friends who may be interested in adopting a shelter pet.

Adopt Andrina

Andrina was part of our TNR program and was released with her siblings, but came back to us a year later after she bit a resident. It turns out she is really sweet and friendly.  She enjoys playing and cuddling and is just looking for a loving home.

If you are interested in meeting Andrina or fostering/adopting her, please email us at cats@sammyshope.org. You can download a PDF copy of the adoption application form here or you can see more adoptable cats from Sammy’s Hope here.

Adopt Tank

Tank is a sweet and friendly dog with a beautiful and soft coat. He’s well behaved in the car and housebroken. Tank enjoys walks, especially when there’s lot of new scents for him to smell. He knows some commands and is doing well in weekly training classes. Tank enjoys lying in the grass and soaking in the sun. He can be stubborn at times so a firm hand will be necessary.  He can also be dog-reactive.

If you’re interested in learning more about Tank or to schedule a visit, email dogs@easelnj.org. Find more of EASEL’s adoptable dogs, puppies here or download a PDF copy of the application form here.

Adopt Percy

Percy is an American Staffordshire terrier mix. We think he’s almost 4-years-old and is about 55 pounds. He likes to go with the volunteers for long walks and run and play in the dog runs. Percy’s friendly and loves treats. He enjoys cuddling and having his ears scratched and belly rubbed. Percy will be neutered and up-to-date with his shots before adoption.

If you're interested in meeting Percy or fostering/adopting him, please email us at info@sammyshope.org. You can download a PDF copy of the application form here or you can see more adoptable dogs from Sammy’s Hope here.

Adopt Porkchop

Porkchop is a 8-year-old neutered male. He is a handsome boy, but can be a little shy. He would settle in nicely as a lap cat in a quiet home. He loves to be petted, brushed and even have his fluffy orange chin rubbed. Porkchop was pulled from a hoarding situation so he wants nothing more to have a safe clean place to call his own.

To schedule a visit to meet Porkchop, please email kitty@easelnj.org or call 609-883-0540. Find more of EASEL’s adoptable cats and kittens here, or download a PDF copy of the application form here.
