Gov. Chris Christie is expected to sign a compromise measure into law today in a private ceremony that would grant in-state college tuition rates to eligible undocumented immigrants, effective immediately.

Unfair though it might have seemed at the time, and to me it still does, the issue of offering illegal immigrants the opportunity to attend state colleges at in-state rates was always black and white.
