NEW YORK (AP) -- Severe thunderstorms across the Northeast on Sunday slowed operations at airports, wreaked havoc at outdoor sporting and musical events and sent people scurrying from a beach after three men were struck by lightning.
Thousands of South Jersey residents are sifting through the aftermath after two weekends in a row of severe thunderstorms which led to emergency declarations in Atlantic, Cumberland and Salem counties along with water restrictions in Monmouth County
