S. Korean teens describe escape from sinking ferry

ANSAN, South Korea (AP) -- Students who survived the South Korean ferry disaster testified Monday they were repeatedly ordered by loudspeaker to stay in the sinking ship but eventually helped each other flee after finding their cabins were flooded too much.

Fire Kills 21 at South Korean Hospital for Elderly

A fire believed to have been set by a man with dementia suffocated 21 people and injured seven others Wednesday at a South Korean hospital that specializes in dementia and palsy patients, police and fire officers said.
