Car #17 from Funtown Pier's Arctic Circle ride, which had traveled approximately 10 miles and washed ashore in Point Pleasant Beach a few days after Sandy made landfall, was removed from the beach yesterday, according to the Barnegat Bay Island, NJ Facebook page. Check out this awesome video.
A dispute between a New Jersey shore town and a towing company is escalating. The Asbury Park Press reports APK Towing has sued the borough of Seaside Heights for $2.6 million in damages stemming from work it did after Superstorm Sandy.
