August 4th 1967 - The Monkees find a stowaway on their plane between shows in Minneapolis and St Louis. The young female's father threatens to bring up charges for transporting a minor across state lines.

July 22nd 1965 - The Rolling Stones are found guilty of public urination after they relieved themselves on a wall at a gas station in East Ham, England, in March. Mick Jagger, Bill Wyman, and Brian Jones were all fined and it was also revealed

April 7th 1962 - While at Ealing Jazz Club, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards met Brian Jones for the first time. Jones was calling himself Elmo Lewis and was playing guitar with Paul Jones.

March 25th 1968 - The last episode of The Monkees television show airs. The idea of following the hi-jinks of a rock band's life was taken from the Beatles' A Hard Day's Night film.

December 4th: 1965 - The Byrds started a three week run at No.1 on the US singles chart with 'Turn! Turn! Turn!' the group's second No.1.  A No.26 hit in the UK.
