Last night's New York Rangers vs. San Jose Sharks game was a game Rangers fans will attempt to forget. The Rangers ended up losing in a blowout by a score of 9-2.

Dennis always talks about how hockey is his favorite sport and his favorite team are the Philadelphia Flyers but there may be a rookie in the NHL that could turn out to be one of Dennis' new favorite players.

The NJ Devils tried to get some hometown spirit going recently and it didn't go over as well as they probably had hoped.

I realize hockey isn't overwhelmingly popular in New Jersey, but it does have a sizable fan base. Many of those fans are discussing the role of fighting in the game in the wake of what happened in the Montreal Canadiens/Toronto Maple Leafs game the other night.

The New Jersey Devils is under new ownership after being sold yesterday.  Philadelphia 76ers owner Josh Harris and his business partner David Blitzer purchased the rights to the Devils, and the lease to the Prudential Center for $320 million.

Despite a report last week that the New Jersey Devils would be taken over by the NHL, it seems more and more likely that Josh Harris, the owner of the Philadelphia 76ers is going to become the owner of the New Jersey Devils.

Non-celebrity residents of Pittsburgh felt Crosby should have to slog through the interminable wait like everyone else, and if his presence caused a disturbance, well, that's why they have a police presence there.
