NEWARK, N.J. (AP) -- A man who made his way into a secure hallway at Newark Liberty International Airport on Sunday, prompting police to evacuate part of an airport terminal, has been taken for a psychiatric evaluation, police said.
The National Transportation Safety Board says a close call at Newark Liberty International Airport involving two airliners that nearly collided was the fault of an air traffic controller who didn't keep the planes far enough apart.
