Christmas lists are everywhere ... and I'm not just talking about presents. Folks love to chat about their favorite (or least favorite) Christmas tunes. Along those same lines, I'd like to present yet another grouping of holiday ditties. This time around, we look at the lighter side of Christmas music - those songs of the season that make you laugh, think, shake your tailfeather, or are - shall we say - just a wee bit off. 1967 - American soul singer, songwriter Otis Redding was killed in a plane crash, aged 26. Redding and his band had made an appearance in Cleveland, Ohio on the local ‘Upbeat’ television show the previous day.

1967 - Police arrest Jim Morrison as he performs onstage in New Haven, Conn. It's the culmination of a wild night for the Lizard King, who clashed with a cop trying to hassle him and his lady before the gig.
