WASHINGTON (AP) -- Two Democratic senators and a possible Republican presidential candidate joined forces Tuesday to push a bill to remove federal prohibitions on medical marijuana in 23 states where it's already legal.

Assemblyman Reed Gusciora, one of the lawmakers who led the charge to establish New Jersey's medical marijuana program, said that in the near future he will present information from a public hearing on the topic, held on Monday, to the state Department of Health.
