Woman’s lost class ring turns up 60 years later

LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) -- An 84-year-old Washington state woman will soon hold her 1953 university class ring, lost six decades ago, after it was found in a dried-up West Texas lake.

Woman Has Class Ring Returned After 72 Years

 

Imagine the shock of an 85-year-old Oklahoma woman when a class ring that her husband accidentally flushed down the toilet in 1947 was returned to her after all these years!

Lodema Clement said she never expected to see her high school class ring after her husband accidentally flushed it down the toilet in 1947. The couple was living in the Quonset Huts in Stillwater at the time.

The ring was recovered by 2 utility men working on a sewer line who took the time to contact Chickasha High
