Another Extremist Attack in Kenya: 9 Dead

NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) -- Extremists attacked a coastal area of Kenya for the second night in a row, killing at least nine people a day after the deaths of nearly 50, an official said Tuesday.

48 Reported Dead in Kenya Terrorist Attack

NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) -- Dozens of extremists attacked a Kenyan coastal town for hours, killing those who couldn't answer questions about Islam and those who didn't know the Somali language, officials and witnesses said Monday. At least 48 people were killed and two hotels were set on fire.

Bombings Kill 10, Wound 70 in Kenyan Market

Two bombs killed 10 people and wounded 70 others Friday, tossing bodies into the air at a market in Kenya's capital, while hundreds of British tourists were evacuated from the coastal resort of Mombasa after warnings of an impending attack by Islamic extremists.
