Power and cell service is out due to hundreds of massive trees crashing down from the weight of the snow. It will be days before power is restored in many areas.

What is scarier than Halloween?  A Halloween Weekend winter storm warning!  The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Sussex, Warren, Hunterdon, Somerset, Eastern Passaic, Western Bergen and Morris Counties from 2am Saturday to 2am Sunday.  A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Essex, Union and Eastern Bergen Counties.  Here is what to expect from the National Weather Service:
