For nearly seven years I've been a backer of New Jersey's Governor, Chris Christie. He's been a strong advocate for the overburdened taxpayers in the Garden State and taken on battles that prior Governors were too weak or ineffective to tackle. Until now.
From my rant on NJ politicians attempting to legislate parenting responsibilities, to Governor Christie celebrating an anniversary as the NJ Transit strike looms, and even an update Mike Maron on the healthcare tiers legislation.
The call for Chris Christie to voluntarily leave office has grown louder. Now the Star Ledger editorial board has joined the Gannett papers throughout New Jersey in calling on the governor to step down. Unlike Gannett, they stopped short of imploring the public to consider a recall movement.
