New Jersey is returning to normal after coming out of he nor'easter relatively unscathed with a minimum of power eoutages especially when compared to its effect on New York and New England where all roads in Connecticut and Massachusetts are closed to traffic.
A nor'easter packing hurricane-force wind gusts and blizzard conditions dumped more than 2 feet of snow on New England and knocked out power to 650,000 homes and businesses. The snow is still falling.
The Nor'easter is not done with us yet as heavier snow is expected to fall across New Jersey for much of the evening before ending early Saturday morning leaving behind up to a foot of snow in some areas.
