Yesterday, we took a number of calls from listeners outraged that more and more retailers in New Jersey are opening on Thanksgiving and forcing their employees to come in on the holiday. I don't like it either, but it's their right in a free, capitalist system to choose to do so.

Would you go shopping on Thanksgiving? The Menlo Park Mall is betting you would. They will be open on 8pm Thanksgiving night, and won't close until 10pm on Black Friday.

Employees in the retail industry are reacting to the fact that more stores are starting to offer their biggest deals on Thanksgiving Day, as 'Black Friday' becomes a term of the past.
