Hundreds of middle and high school students from across the state will be converging on Asbury Park today and Friday to collect and document beach litter, as well as learn about environmental stewardship.
The Garden State will once again be a part of a global effort to collect trash and debris along ocean and inland waterways next month. Ocean Conservancy's 26th annual International Coastal Cleanup takes place September 15th where around 8.5 million volunteers from more than 100 countries are expected to participate.
