POAC was founded in 1999 by a group of parents with autism to help improve the lives of children and adults with the disorder by providing training to parents, teachers and other direct service providers.
Autism impacts about 1 in 50 children across the Garden State and their families. Governor Christie and his administration remain committed to finding new ways to help New Jersey families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorders.
