High temperatures yesterday reached the upper 40s; 47 to 49 from Newark to Atlantic City, which is a little bit above normal. The normal high is 39 to 42.
Today, we are looking for mostly sunny skies and a milder afternoon in the lower 50s in spots, though possibly cooler right near the ocean
A quick review of the weekend just passed.
Saturday worked out just fine. We had thought we would have some passing snow flurries and snow showers in Central and North Jersey. It was in Central Jersey and parts of South Jersey, where there was almost an inch in parts of Burlington, and especially Ocean and Monmouth Counties
After two and a half weeks of vacation, it's good to be back with you.
We have some clouds that are in the jet-stream that will be passing in and out of New Jersey, so we should have more in the way of sunshine as we go through the late morning, and particularly, this afternoon, with any precipitation far, far away and moving out to sea
46 or 47 was Thursday's high temperature, and 44 to 47 is roughly where we should be this time of the year.
Today, with lots of sunshine, it'll just be in the low 50s; 51 or 52 this afternoon.
Some clear skies tonight with some lows in the 20s, but mid 30s or so in urban and coastal areas
