High temperatures Thursday almost reached 90, but fell just short of that. Instead it was in the upper 80's. It was 88 in Atlantic City. The normal high temperature is about 78.
The weekend worked out reasonably well. We may have had a passing light shower or sprinkle at some point on Sunday. Overall it reached the low to mid 80's, as high as 86 in Atlantic City. It was a bit above my predicted highs in the low 80's.
The holiday weekend forecast worked out pretty much as I expected, with Labor Day the worst of the three, although there were some showers and thunderstorms on Sunday. High temperatures yesterday reached the upper 70's.
Today we may have the threat of a passing shower or two this morning and then we should be drying out this afternoon as the dew points and humidity levels start to drop...

High temperatures Thursday reached 79 at Newark Liberty International Airport and 77 elsewhere.
Today will be near 80 or so with patchy clouds and sunshine, but more low humidity will continue. It will be cooler then 80 at the beaches with a sea breeze...
High temperatures yesterday reached no higher than 83 in Atlantic City, so my low to perhaps mid 80's didn't work out very well, although the low 80's was certainly within reason.
A normal high by the way is 85 or 86 degrees.
Today is a different story...
High temperatures Monday reached as warm as 87 at Newark Liberty Airport. That was a couple of degrees above my mid 80's, but I was reasonably close.
Mostly sunny with low humidity again today. High in the mid 80's, though it may turn cooler at the beaches with a possible sea breeze this afternoon...
High temperatures yesterday were in the upper 70's and low 80's. We had lots of rain as well, especially in some spots. In Salem County we had many inches of rain, but it was a lot less elsewhere.
