Roommate charged in fatal South Jersey shooting
An Autubon man is charged with shooting his roommate to death according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
In a statement, the Prosecutor's Office says a caller identifying himself as William A. Clark III, 50, dialed 9-1-1 and said he had shot Steven Johnson, 51 in the head.The two shared a third-floor apartment in a residence on the 400 block of South White Horse Pike.
6 ABC reports the apartment is located in the same building as a law office.
Police responded and took Clark into custody without incident and was charged with first degree murder. Clark told investigators that he became upset with Johnson during a conversation and shot him.
Clark is being held on $500,000 bail.
