Thirty-one-year-old Darrell Crone was arraigned Thursday, a day after he turned himself in to authorities.

Authorities say Crone shot Timothy Loper Jr. early Sunday when the 27-year-old Marine was trying to break up a fight outside a bar in Camden. Prosecutors say a surveillance video shows a man identified by witnesses as Crone pull out a gun and shoot.

Loper had served in Afghanistan. He is the 51st homicide victim in Camden this year.

Crone, an aspiring boxer, has spent 11 of his 13 adult years in prison.

Camden officials have closed the bar at least until a hearing next week.
