Atlantic City police have issued an arrest warrant for a man wanted in connection with a double shooting that occurred over pricey sneakers late Saturday night.

Roger Howard, 19 of Atlantic City is charged with aggravated assault with a weapon, robbery and weapons offenses, police said.

On Saturday Oct. 13, around 10:40 p.m. authorities say Howard approached two male victims at a convenience store on North Indiana Avenue to ask questions about the victim's sneakers, which were Nike Air Jordan's valued at approximately $130.

The victims were walking home when Howard allegedly approached them again and demanded the sneakers. When the victims tried to run, Howard chased them, firing off rounds which hit the victims in the legs, authorities said.

One victim was located on Ohio and Lincoln avenues with a gunshot wound to the thigh.

Police say Howard is considered armed, dangerous and his last known address is on North Indiana Avenue in Atlantic City. Roger Howard is 5'8'' tall and weighs 185 pounds.
