Quick Chek is the king of coffees in New Jersey according to a new consumer survey.

The 21,508 coffee drinkers statewide surveyed by StudyLogic between July, August and September put QuickChek at the top of the list in terms for overall satisfaction on a scale of 1 (worst) to 5 (best) with an average score of 4.72, topping Wawa, Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, McDonald's and 7-Eleven.

The survey also said that QuickChek, despite having fewer locations,  sold the most hot brewed coffee in the 214 locations surveyed.

“We are pleased that consumers continue to think so highly of our brand, not just for how good our coffee tastes, but for the value we provide as well,” said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling about the results of the survey.

Email messages to representatives of Wawa, Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks were not returned.

QuickChek has a total of 143 locations in New Jersey and New York.
