The weekend forecast worked out reasonably well, although there were a few brief scattered showers Saturday morning and early afternoon, but the main threat of some shower and thunderstorm activity came late in the day.

By the time it reached the shore, when it reached the shore, it was hardly any factor at all.

Yesterday was a spectacular day with temperatures mostly in the upper 70s.  I think Newark Liberty Airport reached 80.

Today, we will have temperatures that will not be out of the mid to upper 70s with sunshine, some patchy clouds late morning and early afternoon will mix in.  There will be enough of a north-northwest breeze to notice and very very low humidity.

Tonight will be cool, down into the 50s, with some 40s in the coolest spots, and it wouldn't be a shocker to see a few 30s in some of the northwestern valleys.

High temperatures tomorrow, with lots of sunshine, will be in the low to middle 70s, at best.

Looking at Wednesday, we'll look for sunshine to continue.  High temperatures may rebound to the upper 70s to perhaps 80 Wednesday afternoon.
