The weekend forecast worked out reasonably well.

It was only in the low 60s yesterday with the exception of Newark-Liberty Airport's 65.

Temperatures during the overnight hours were in the 30s and 40s, so it was a chilly morning going off to work and school.

There will be a lot of sunshine today, overall, with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the mid to upper 60s this afternoon.  It will be cooler near the beach and boardwalk.

It will be clear to partly cloudy for the nighttime hours ahead.  Temperatures will probably not be quite as cool.

Temperatures for Tuesday, with clouds and some sun and the slightest chance of a sprinkle, will probably be in the upper 60s to perhaps 70.

Tuesday night into Wednesday, it'll be raining here.

Much chillier weather Wednesday with temperatures not out of the 50s.

It will be on the cool side as we head into the end of the work week.  Thursday and Friday may moderate just a little bit.
