High temperatures yesterday didn't get past the middle 70s.

Newark-Liberty Airport's 76 was the topper.  The normal high is 84 or 85, so we were way below that.  It like September, didn't it?

Today is going to be another day where it's not going to get out of the 70s, despite lots of sunshine and very low humidity once again.

It'll be clear and quite cool tonight with most lows back in the 50s, some 40s again in the coolest spots, but low to mid 60s in urban and south coastal areas.

Sunshine and arriving clouds tomorrow with low humidity.  It will be a very nice day with highs near 80, but 70s at the beaches.

The weekend forecast is filled with doubt and uncertainty.  I think they'll be more clouds around.  That's for sure.

But whether or not we have a bit of rain or showers from later Saturday into Sunday in part of the state remains to be seen.

The best chance of that might be in southernmost New Jersey.  Central and North counties might be rain-free. Weekend highs will be mostly in the 70s.  The ocean is near 70.

We have two tropical disturbances.  One is in the Northwest Caribbean Sea, which has a chance to develop into a depression or storm over the next few days.  We already have the season's next depression in the far Eastern Atlantic.

We'll be watching.
