High temperatures yesterday were only in the low to middle 90s, not the mid to upper 90s.

Newark's 95 was the topper, while Atlantic City International Airport was 94.

Again today, we'll be back in the mid 90s with sunshine, heat and humidity.  We'll have some relief at the beaches and the ocean water temperature is generally 70 or better.  In fact, at the Steel Pier along the south coast, the water is 73 degrees.

Mostly clear and humid tonight back in the 70s, but a few 60s are again possible in NW Jersey, and about 80 or so in urban and coastal areas.

Sunshine, hot and humid Thursday and Friday.  There may be a bit of a better chance of late thunderstorm either day in spots.  Highs Thursday and Friday at least middle 90s, but somewhat cooler those days along the ocean.

We'll have one last hot and humid day Saturday with thunderstorms threatening in the afternoon and the evening.  Some of them could be heavy.

We'll have a break in the heat wave with temperatures on Sunday hopefully mostly in the 80s.
