High temperatures Monday reached the mid to upper 70s, although a few lows were present, specifically 81 in Mount Holly.  So, my forecast of a few low 80s worked out pretty well.

Most of the showers and thunderstorms occurred yesterday morning, just a few later in the day.

Today, we'll have nothing like that.  We'll have a mix of sunshine and clouds developing from late morning on with a brisk wind and very low humidity.  Highs will be in the upper 70s to around 80.

Tonight, clear and still fairly comfortable for sleeping with lows back in the 50s, but low to mid 60s in urban and coastal areas.

Mostly sunny and warming trend beginning for Wednesday with highs in the low to middle 80s, but still fairly comfortable, though.

Mostly sunny, hot and getting a bit more humid for Thursday with highs from 88 to 92, but probably cooler at the beaches Thursday afternoon.

It looks like hot and humid weather will continue Friday and possibly right into the upcoming weekend.
