The sums were paid to Redstone's ex-girlfriend Sydney Holland and Manuela Herzer, who is asking a Los Angeles judge to rule Redstone was mentally incapacitated when he kicker her out of his home in October.

Both women may testiy in a mental competency trial that is scheduled to begin Friday in Los Angeles.

Herzer's attorney Pierce O'Donnell has said his client is not motivated by money, but is concerned about the 92-year-old Redstone's wellbeing.

Redstone's lawyers say Herzer lied to their client, who wants her out of his life.

Redstone controls CBS Corp. and Viacom Inc. through his company, National Amusements.
