High temperatures were in the upper 80s yesterday, as warm as 89 in Atlantic City International Airport, 87 Newark, 88 in Trenton and Wrightstown, Burlington County.

Today and Friday, with lots of sunshine, it's going to be hot with just moderate humidity.  Highs should make the low 90s or so both afternoons.  There should be some relief with a sea breeze at the beaches both today and tomorrow.

A clear, very mild night ahead with statewide lows from the mid 60s to low 70s.

The weekend, overall, doesn't look too bad.  If, in fact, there's only a better chance of a shower or thunderstorm later Sunday and not Saturday, it should be partly to mostly sunny with weekend highs in the warm upper 80s to perhaps 90, but cooler both Saturday and Sunday near the ocean.

There may be a better chance of some showers around with a bit lower temperatures by Monday of next week.
