Jersey City police say two students were stabbed outside high school, but their wounds are not considered life-threatening.

It was not immediately clear what sparked the attack, which occurred around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The Jersey Journal reports a 17-year-old male Dickinson High School student was stabbed in the chest and the back, while a 16-year-old male student was cut on the arm. Both were being treated at a hospital, but further details on their injuries were not disclosed.

No other injuries were reported in the incident.
