Street Fairs, Baseball, and Keeping Our Kids Safe

Another amazing jammed packed weekend for for the New Jersey 101.5 Prize Team!

This weekend was great it started with an eager crowd at Monmouth Mall for Keeping Our Kids safe. Where parents and children learned how to prevent and stop bulling. While we were there we had contests pertinent to all the valuable information being taught by guest speakers and the New Jersey State Police.

We than arrived later that night to an already amped crowd an hour before the first pitch and the excitement went all night long.

We weren't the only ones there Bill Leary heating and A/C was there as well as the Summit little league baseball and fast pitch softball teams. The night was lots of fun with all the fans playing games under the Big Yellow Tent for great NJ 101.5 prizes and of course a big 3-0 win over the Maryland Blue Crabs bringing the Somerset Patriots win streak to 4 in a row and that was capped off with a gorgeous firework spectacular.

Vans to host the Westfield Spring Fling and the Cranford Street Fair simultaneously. Both events were spectacular! First the Westfield Spring Fling in downtown Westfield. We were immediately greeted by a slew of NJ101.5 fans after we set up it was time to give away tickets. First we played Jersey trivia than a few rounds of T.V. trivia for tickets to various baseball games. Next came the Hula Hoop contest which was a huge success and we have many talented hula hoopers also for baseball tickets. Than we ended with more trivia for two couple packs for Broadway shows.

At the same time more New Jersey Prize Team staff were in Cranford for the Cranford Street Fair! It started out and for that matter ended great. We played Name That NJ 101.5 Tune for great seats at the baseball game of your choice and followed that up with a bowling pin juggling contest. We soon found out not many people who say they can juggle really can and its even harder to juggle pins. We remedy this by playing many rounds of Name That T.V. Show Theme Song afterwords we had the kids play Simon Says and a Hula Hoop Tournament for Broadway show tickets. The best thing about when we come to you town is you never know what's gonna happen and this was no different we saw and amazing Michael Jackson look-a-like that had all his moves.
